Initial Visit
Initial visits are 1-hour appointments, which includes a health history intake, brief assessment, and hands-on treatment.
At the start of each session, the therapist will discuss the complaint and treatment plan including benefits, risks, and alternate therapies for treatment. Massage Therapists provide assessment, not a medical diagnosis. You may be referred to your family physician or appropriate health professional if necessary. When explaining a proposed treatment the Massage Therapist will describe the nature of the treatment, the expected benefits, any risks or side effects of the proposed therapy, alternative options, and any consequences of not having the treatment. A patient may withdraw or modify consent to a treatment at any time, and the Massage Therapist will immediately respect the request.
Cancellation Policy / No-show
By scheduling appointments with Linda Jung, RMT, you have agreed to attend all scheduled appointments in a timely manner. If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, you need to call and cancel the appointment 24 hours in advance. We recognize that unplanned issues come up for everyone. Still, we must balance this fact with the fact that without adequate notice we cannot schedule another patient. In cases of extraordinary circumstances, which do not allow you to give a one-day advance notice, you still need to call as soon as you are able and inform the clinic that you will be missing your appointment. Failure to cancel your appointment will result in being charged the full rate for the missed appointment. Patients who arrive late for their appointment time will have their sessions shortened so that the end time remains the same. Full session fees will apply.
